Subject: Vipawee<p/>
Comment: A photographer once asked me: <br/>
"How did you get the model's hair blowing across her face like that?" <br/>
"Luck!" I replied, "The wind blew as I pressed the shutter."<br/>

Subject: Charlotte<p/>
Comment: Breathtaking eyes! Charlotte and I didn't think much of this shot initially. On reflection, it has become one of my favourite photos.

Subject: grace<p/>
Comment: It would be difficult to produce a bad image of Grace. Pictured throwing stones in a brook, I just let her get on with it, and photographed her using a big lens.

Subject: Charley the Big Issue<p/>
Comments: Shot in the studio with Tungsten.

Subject: Dean Salmon Fishing River Spay<p/>
Comment: This is one of my all-time favourite images. It captures the drama of a fisherman consumed in his labour. I love it!

Subject: Darren<p/>
Comment: Daren has Down's Syndrome, but people rarely notice. I shot in colour and converted it to B+W to exaggerate the mood.

Subject: Dawn<p/>
Comment: Dawn was a difficult subject... she just couldn't stop laughing! I was patient, and got the shot I wanted in the end.<p/>

Subject: Michael John Singer<p/>
Comment: On the day of this shoot, I started work at 6.00am and didn't get onto this job until 7.00pm. I was shattered, and would have been happy if the customer had cancelled. However, everything fell into place, and the customer was delighted with the results…so was I.

Subject: Curtis Boxing<p/>
Comment: I intentionally created a harsh light for this shot to overstate a brutal feel; Curtis does not box.

Subject: Rastislav and Zuzana <br/>
Comment: Zuzana was my guide on a recent trip to Slovakia. Rastislav, behind her, is her boyfriend.<p/>

Subject: Eight nephews<p/>
Comment: This shot was part of a series of images created of eight cousins. I wanted to do something funky and different; not the easiest of jobs with 8 subjects! The customer was very happy with the end result! <p/>

Comment: This image of my father was a birthday present to him. He likes to read the Financial Times, so I thought this was very appropriate.

Subject: Maria<p/>
Comment: Maria was selling fruit outside Tescos in Bratislava so I asked my guide and translator, Sunny, to ask her if she would pose for me. The marks on her face are skin cancer.
