Subject: Ganesh<p/>Comment: Ganesh suffers from Virtiligo a skin condition. Here he is stood in front of an Indian Tata truck which he will fill with stones.<p/>

Subject: Ganesh<p/>Comment: To me this image tells a story. Ganesh looking sad is sat on a pile of his quarried stone, his skin condition clearly visible; his only tool the iron bar and his shoeless feet. The Tata truck you can see in the background takes five days to fill; Ganesh earns just four pounds for his efforts. One of my favourite images of 2008.<p/>

Subject: Sunil<p/>Comment: At just five years old and a sufferer of Strabismus, the clothes Sunil wears had not been washed in weeks if not months! I think this one of my best images but I find it difficult to look at and very disturbing.<p/>

Subject: Cousin Ashok<p/>Comment: Working with a pick I love the eye contact here.<p/>

Subject: Prakash and Sunil<p/>Comment: Stood on a huge pile of waist stones Prakash did not say a word. It wasn't until my guide explained to me the boy is mute!<p/>

Subject: Prakash<p/>Comment: Prakash wore a cardigan back to front. I did not get to the bottom of why but a guess would be, the back was cleaner than the front!<p/>

Subject: Ashok<p/>Comment: Ashok and his family are part of the Parayar cast. One of the lowest in Nepal. I can't help but wonder what life will hold for this small boy.<p/>

Subject: Ganesh working<p/>Comment: Shoeless and using his only tool; an iron bar, Ganesh digs stones from the banks of the Seti River.<p/>

Subject: Sunil<p/>Comment: Neglected by his parents, Sunil unwashed in weeks this image paints a grim picture. With no prospects he won't attend school just like thousands of Nepalese children.<p/>
