Rael Gough
Raels work caught my eye when I called into his Bolton gallery.
Amongst his many fans is singer/song-writer
Badly Drawn Boy!
Rael creates visually stunning abstract art often on a very large scale.
It is refreshing and inspiring to see someone so young having the drive
and ambition to make a name for himself.
I love the way light changes his art from one minute to the next.
Placed in natural light at the front of his studio a painting will change
as the light moves across it. To me it’s like owning several pieces in one.
Carys Kaiser Make up Artist
For some time I have been looking for a great MUA. I needed someone local and sensibly priced but most of all a MUA with real passion and fire in their belly! In Carys Kaiser I have eventually found what I need. To me Carys is not just a MUA, also a great stylist with ideas in abundance, and all that in addition to acting as chaperone. We worked together recently producing images for several commercial clients.
CARYS WAS EXCEPTIONAL IN EVERY WAY, I HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS TALENTED MUA
Sean Bagshaw
Adventurer and accomplished landscape photographer
Searching the net for information on Nepal for my upcoming trip I came across Sean’s incredibly mature site. Sean had visited and photographed Nepal and Google took me to his gallery. Impressed with his words and images I emailed him and a friendship was born. Sean’s Outdoor Exposure site is a myriad of pages you can quite easily get lost in, such is the quality and depth of his work. Sean lives in Southern Oregon USA and is a first class landscape photographer.
Charles Meacham
Just very occasionally whilst surfing the net I come across an exceptional photographer. Charles "Chad" Meacham was born outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and began travelling immediately after high school. He later earned a degree in Special Education, and now teaches English in Taipei, Taiwan. Chads work is truly breathtaking, specialising in travel and people this award winning photographer has the magic touch. In 2003 he was awarded First Place in National Geographic Traveller’s 15th Annual Photo Contest. In 2005 he earned a second National Geographic award, ranked 11th in The Travel Photographer of the Year Competion. If you do nothing else this year you must view this Amazing site.
UAP Limited Pickbuster
Based in North Manchester UAP LTD has an unsurpassable reputation for product quality and innovation. They are one of Europe’s most prominent specialist suppliers of decorative door hardware and related products. David Jennings Googled my site and liked my work. Over the last six weeks I have produced images for several product lines which will be used on their new web site , brochures and press releases not to mention the 2008 UAP Calendar. It has been an amazing experience working for such a forward thinking company and in addition to projects here in the UK, David has commissioned me to cover a football tournament in Nepal being run by charity DWCW for which UAP are a major fundraiser. Pickbuster is a security product exclusively distributed by UAP. Images produced include those of Coronation street star Martin Platt (Sean Wilson)
Rachael Goodall commercial model
If enthusiasm was the only measure of a model Rachael would be in the top 1 % of the world’s professionals. Working for UAP ltd we created images for two product types over two days. Great looks, intelligence, excellent ideas, and a good all round knowledge of the industry this psychology graduate helped me to produce an excellent finished job, with which the customer was completely satisfied. This sensibly priced model from Yorkshire was a pleasure to work with and I will be working with her again on future projects
Great job
Online Marketing and Support by Ron Heywood
Creating great images and showcasing them on the web can be exhausting work. In addition a pointless task if potential customers cannot find your site. Marketing your product and website making it visible to the right people is a very specialised and often time consuming task. That’s why I am happy to be able to work with Ron Heywood on a number of marketing initiatives. Being hugely technical Ron really understands the way the Internet works, and his support and expertise have definitely helped push this site towards the right market. From being virtually invisible in a Google search six months ago Rons sensibly priced services now mean davidprice.uk.com now has a more than satisfactory search engine presence. And I have gained several new significant clients as a result of his work.
Gerry Halpin
Gerry Halpin has been painting professionally since 1990. He has held many successful exhibitions, most recently at Blackburn City Art Gallery and in 2001 he was elected a member of Manchester Academy of Fine Art for his contribution to contemporary painting.
Gerry says of his work:
"The inspiration for my painting comes from the world around me. Things seen kick off my imagination and initiate the process of interpretation. Initially I draw or paint directly from the landscape as a response to that which impinges upon my eye. Later some of these observations become a starting point for paintings which have undergone an intuitive refining process and moved into a new area of expression."
Matthew Marsden Furniture
Sue Marsden asked me to photograph one of their kitchens for magazine ads and sales brochures.
Arriving in Dalton early my contact Sue was not on site, and I was greeted by the very pleasant Mr and Mrs Leigh the owners of a splendid farmhouse conversion who then showed me the Kitchen I was to photograph. Having a background in property developing I quickly realised that I was to photograph something rather special. Simply put the kitchen was outstanding in design, build quality and finish. I certainly had not seen anything quite like it before.
In addition when Sue and then later Matthew arrived they were both extremely nice and after a quick chat about their requirements I was just left to get on with the job.
