This image of Baba, was taken in Kathmandu, Nepal in September 2007. It looks like a studio shot, but in fact it was created in broad daylight. I gave the shot as a gift to a client; Baba even got a model release!

I was commissioned to photograph images of Bolton over six sessions, which included two at 6 o'clock in the morning. This cover shot shows Le Mans crescent and the magazine also featured my images across six pages of editorial.

Charley is one of my favourite models. She has a great look and an even better temperament. Here, she's covered in water-based paints. I was able to produce a selection of stock images on the back of a commercial job.

Joe Haines is the British under 15 speedway champion. I offered to take some promotional shots free of charge, because I felt the ones he'd had commissioned were very poor. Here, Joe is photographed using a moody style in a make shift studio.

This is one of a series of conceptual images I was commissioned to take. The client's Colorama range of door furniture is finished in rich, bespoke colours.

I love to use reflections in my photography. Here, the glass below the displayed product really adds an extra dimension.

My client adored this image. Nano Coast is a range of door furniture coated in a salt-resistant lacquer, used on properties in coastal areas. The idea here was to connect the product with the sea, using fish as the link. The protruding hand idea came to me later.

Here we have model Rachel Goodall, posing as a Bond Girl in swimwear to promote UAP's Nano Coast salt-resistant door furniture which is used in coastal areas. I included the background shadow for extra effect.

This product takes about a minute to apply; it's that easy to anyone can do it. I decided on the child model and clock image to emphasise these points.

I had a very strict brief for this shot, which has 600 one pound coins as a background. I created impact by using a narrow depth of field and unusual lighting.

I was commissioned to photograph this Georgian house which had very large windows. I was very lucky to have had the light streaming through the window at just the right time.

I purposely took this image at six o'clock in the morning to take advantage of the morning light and the beautiful deep blue sky in the background.

This image shows a very modern kitchen with trendy stools. It's quite an old shot, but I really like its simplicity which is why I've included it here.

I produced this image while I still had 600 one pound coins which I'd used for a previous job. Here, I've used a glass table to create a subtle reflection.

I produced this image while I still had a selection of colourful fish I'd used for a commercial job for UAP Ltd. I had to have special holes cut through the plate and the table to enable the hand model to thrust her arm from under the table and into the heart of the shot.

This was one of many images I took during my recent working trip to Nepal. I was commissioned to photograph a football tournament, and a school and health camp opening in the region of Kavre, which is south west of Kathmandu.
